Every bride wants to look their best on their wedding day. With your big day right around the corner, you are probably putting more thought into health and beauty.

As you count down the days, don’t forget to create a pre-wedding beauty plan that addresses any stubborn skin concerns in order to give you clear and glowing skin that radiates on-cam and up close!

If you want to have your best glow when you say “I do,” you need to start planning for great skin months before the wedding. Waiting until the week of won’t give you enough time to truly treat, nourish, and transform your skin.

10-12 Months Prior to the Wedding

Your pre-wedding beauty schedule should start 10 to 12 months before the wedding so that we can work with you to create a perfectly timed pre-wedding beauty plan.

While you’re here, you can ask about medical aesthetic treatments that help rebuild collagen and tighten your skin around the face and eyes

These pre-wedding beauty treatments can take up to a year to take full effect, so if you want that youthful glow, it’s important to start this treatment early.

8-10 Months Prior to the Wedding

At this point, you should already have an at home skin care regiem in place that complements and treats your specific skin type. Take note that active ingredients in medical-grade skin care products are very potent, so you’ll need to introduce them slowly into your routine.

If laser resurfacing treatments are on your agenda, starting now will allow you to have equally spaced treatments rather than being rushed with a limited schedule.

These pre-wedding beauty treatments have stimulating effects that take time to unfold, which is why it’s best if they are placed early on your pre-wedding beauty schedule.

6-8 Months Prior to the Wedding

If you want to include dermal fillers in your pre-wedding beauty plan. Starting it this early in your pre-wedding beauty schedule would give the treatment enough time to jumpstart your body’s natural collagen-producing capabilities and give you the time to determine whether you like the results.

This is the time when you want to undergo any treatment that may involve a longer recovery period, such as a series of resurfacing treatments or a Light & Bright laser resurfacing treatment.

At home, you should continue to follow the recommended skincare regimen.

4-6 Months Prior to the Wedding

Now is the time to undergo any treatments that may require a little recovery period, such as a series of IPL sessions.

If you have fine lines and wrinkles, this would also be the perfect opportunity to try Botox® or dermal fillers. These are designed to help you achieve a fuller look in areas that have naturally started to lose fat and sag and to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes or on the forehead. In the months leading up to the wedding, you can receive additional injections and make adjustments as needed.

For fuller, longer lashes, you can get a prescription for a hair growth solution like Lattise.  Another option is Revive 7 which is a non-prescription, vegan alternative.  Results are comparable to Eye Envy. This treatment will make your eyes pop, but you’ll need a few months to see maximum benefits, so don’t leave it until the last minute.

2-4 Months Before the Wedding

There are numerous excellent products available that can rejuvenate your appearance without resorting to major surgery or invasive procedures with significant downtime.

If you haven't started a Botox® and filler regimen yet, now is the perfect time to do so. Beginning now will allow any potential bruising or swelling to subside by your wedding day.

Consider scheduling chemical peels to enhance your skin's youthful appearance and address any problem areas. Planning them at this stage will give you ample time for any redness to heal and fade.

Timing is crucial: ensure that fillers and Botox® are fully effective by the time you walk down the aisle. Fortunately, most fillers last at least nine months, so you'll continue to look fabulous well into your honeymoon.

1-2 Months Before the Wedding

In the final weeks leading up to your wedding, focus on having your last IPL treatments needed for you to be perfect your look for the big day.

About a month before the wedding, treat yourself to a gentle exfoliating peel & or dermaplaning to refresh your skin and enhance your glow.

4 Weeks Before the Wedding

At this stage, focus on using gentle, soothing face masks and treatments that hydrate your skin without causing irritation. It's best to avoid experimenting with new products, as any potential irritation could take time to resolve. Consistent sun protection is crucial; if you spend a lot of time in front of screens, choose a sunscreen that also filters blue light to maintain healthy skin.

If you're considering a facial before the wedding, schedule it at least a week in advance to give any redness time to fade before the big day.
